Job summary

Carolina Handling LLC seeks an Applications Engineer within its Intralogistics Solutions Group to support sales and operations across multiple departments. You will analyze system requirements, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and develop rack and material handling solutions for project proposals.

The role emphasizes collaboration, technical design, and continuous learning as you handle site surveys, BOMs, and customer demonstrations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2-4 years of experience in material handling sales or related industries.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD; Visio or similar flow diagram software.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales reps with system specification analysis and documentation of requirements.
• Support site surveys, prepare bills of material and quotes.
• Coordinate with internal and vendor resources to address technical questions.
• Review and design solutions; develop facility layouts and proposals.
• Maintain knowledge of racking systems and installation procedures.
