Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product development and design.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical/Electronic also considered).
• Experience designing card edge, memory connectors and cable assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and execution of projects involving electrical connectors and cable systems, from concept through evaluation.
• Collaborate with key Server/Storage ODMs to develop high-speed cable and interconnect solutions.
• Apply understanding of server architecture, PCI-SIG, OCP, JEDEC, SFF standards, and signal integrity principles.
• Drive innovation by defining and selecting new design concepts for connectors and cable systems, including prototypes.
• Work cross-functionally with global teams to meet customer requirements, cost targets and program timelines.
• Provide cost analyses and estimates for product concepts to support Product Management and Manufacturing decisions.
• Support Sales and Marketing teams with technical training, presentations, and customer engagements.
• Oversee product testing and qualification to ensure compliance with specifications and performance standards.
• Stay current with technological advancements in the connector and interconnect industry.
