Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking an Application Engineer for active cable products in Santa Clara, CA. You will support data center and AI networking customers with qualification, deployment, and optimization of 112G+ active cables and retimer/redriver architectures.

Qualifications

Degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field required.
5+ years in application engineering, field support, or validation.
Experience with data center/high-speed interconnect qualification and debugging.

Responsibilities

Provide customer technical support and qualification for active cable products.
Perform in-lab debugging, optimization, and failure analysis on high‑speed links.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve system-level issues and document findings.
Visit customer sites for hands-on lab support and training as needed.
Contribute to new product qualification and field validation activities.
