Job summary
Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks an experienced Application Engineer to support data center and AI networking customers. You will qualify, deploy, and optimize active cable and transceiver products, focusing on 112G–336G technologies and beyond.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in application engineering, field application engineering, validation, or related roles.
- Experience with high‑speed interconnect products such as retimer/redriver cables.
- Hands‑on customer qualification or field support in data center, networking, or AI contexts.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer technical support and qualification for active cable products.
- Conduct lab debugging and optimize active cable performance (BER, FEC, eye margin, link training).
- Support interoperability testing across switches, NICs, servers, GPUs, and data center infra.
- Collaborate with SI, hardware, firmware, validation, product, and sales teams to resolve issues.
