Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Field Applications Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to support the Data Center Sales Team. You will interface with customers, product development, product marketing, and sales to drive design wins and technical success.

The role requires a BS in engineering and at least 5 years of experience in product marketing and sales tech support, with proficiency in modeling tools and MS Office. Travel may be necessary; a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering is required.
Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience providing product marketing and sales tech support.
Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle as the engineering resource on the sales team.
Provide technical marketing support for development and implementation of Amphenol products.
Prepare materials and participate in product presentations.
Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and inquiries.
Help devise strategies to differentiate products and solutions from competitors.
Meet and exceed strategic objectives.
Some travel will be required.
