Nexans is seeking an Application Engineer for Large Projects & Strategic Infrastructure in the United States. You will act as a trusted technical partner to customers, EPCs, and engineering teams, influencing designs from concept through commissioning and optimizing electrical solutions for mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in electrical engineering on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of LV/MV distribution systems and electrical design principles.
• Experience performing or reviewing electrical calculations and single-line diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical engineering support for major Data Center and strategic infrastructure projects across the US/NA.
• Collaborate with end users, EPCs, engineering consultancies and contractors to define requirements and solutions.
• Perform or review LV/MV cable sizing, electrical calculations and design reviews.
• Interpret single-line diagrams, specs, cable schedules and BOMs.
• Influence specifications through early technical engagement and design reviews.
• Identify opportunities to optimize electrical performance, reliability, installation, sustainability and value.
• Support tenders, RFQs, and complex project pursuits with technical input.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers and internal teams.
• Provide guidance during project execution, installation and commissioning.
• Work with cross-functional teams to address complex customer requirements.
• Capture customer insights to inform future product and digital engineering development.
