Job summary

HBK is seeking an Applications Engineer in Chatsworth, CA to work closely with customers and the Dytran engineering team. You will help select accelerometers, sensors, and instrumentation, while defining requirements for new or modified products addressing market needs.

You will engage in lab testing, data analysis, and prepare engineering documentation, guides, and informative articles to support Sales and Marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience; internships welcome.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specs, drawings, and test data.
• Hands-on laboratory environment; comfortable with lab work and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand measurement applications and select sensor solutions.
• Define requirements for new or modified sensor products with Engineering Design Team.
• Provide technical inquiries support, NPRs coordination, and prototype activity scheduling.
• Prepare technical reports, operating guides, and sales/marketing content.
