Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sensors Engineer, Product Performance Engineering - Electrical, to sustain and improve Bently Nevada sensor technologies across their lifecycle.

The role involves characterization, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering analysis with collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve issues and drive performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience supporting sensor products, sensor manufacturing, or instrumentation technologies.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working in laboratory and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Characterization, testing, troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering activities for sensor products.
• Evaluating sensor performance and identifying opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Supporting manufacturing operations by investigating production issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Conducting root cause investigations and recommending solutions for technical and product performance concerns.
• Maintaining technical documentation, engineering records, reports, and procedures.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and support business objectives.
