Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Applications Specialist in Seattle, WA to assist in database admin tasks using Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, and the company’s finance/HCM systems.

This role serves as the first contact for technical issues and will manage licenses and access across multiple platforms. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree, at least one year in a help desk role, advanced Excel skills, and Salesforce/Tableau experience or related apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for requests via email, chat, phone, in-person, or ticketing system.
• Log and categorize all requests in the ticketing system.
• Perform daily tasks and run audit reports to support day-to-day operations.
• Create, manage, and maintain user licenses and access permissions across platforms.
• Basic troubleshooting: password resets and account access.
• Stay up to date on updates and new functionality that impact systems.
• Create validation rules to prevent user error.
• Assist end users in creating or editing reports, dashboards, or list views.
• Provide testing and QA support as needed.
• Document existing processes and workflows to strengthen institutional knowledge.
