Job summary

The University of Connecticut's Information Technology Services seeks an Application Administrator 2 to support Facilities Services enterprise apps, including AiM and ReADY, with focus on reliability, improvements, and reporting.

You will work with users, vendors, and tech teams, build Power BI dashboards, and help with integrations, security, and performance in a hybrid on-site role at Storrs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and six years of related experience, OR bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience, OR eight years of related experience.
• Experience administering, supporting, and implementing enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in writing SQL queries for relational databases.
• Experience supporting digital process automation tools with complex workflows.
• Ability to read, debug, and modify automation scripts and to make authenticated REST/SOAP API requests.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced administration, configuration, and production support for enterprise applications and integrations.
• Manage application security settings per university policies.
• Monitor health, logs, integrations; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Plan and support new implementations, upgrades, migrations, and testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to resolve issues and support development.
