Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a System Administrator to manage and support multiple applications across campus IT environments. The role covers setup, maintenance, data security, troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and end-user training.

You will be the primary contact for IT staff and end users for the assigned applications, which may include housing, dining, hospitality, hotel operations, event management, POS, card management, and access services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; preferred fields include computer science, business systems, or related area.
• Experience in customer and application support or related field.
• 2 years of project management, system development, and maintenance in administrative support apps.
• Experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and user support for all managed applications.
• Maintain knowledge of business practices and procedures for tasks related to managed apps.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; document applications from admin and end-user perspectives.
• Develop, test, and upgrade functionality with vendors and UITS; ensure best practices for security, testing, and training.
