Job summary

ViewSonic in Chino, CA seeks an Application Systems Analyst to maintain and support business-critical applications including GSW, WMS, and ERP/CRM integrations. You will serve as a liaison between end users, developers, and IT operations.

The ideal candidate has a BS in CS/IT, 3–5 years' experience, Mandarin fluency, strong troubleshooting, SQL, APIs, SDLC, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms. Office-based role; on-site team environment; training and collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3-5 years of application support, technical support, or related role.
• Fluency in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading comprehension).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across applications, databases, and integrations.
• Experience with SQL and database concepts, APIs, integrations, and log analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM or other enterprise applications in production.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for internal and/or customer-facing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner.
• Monitor application performance and system health; proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Investigate root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to elevate bugs, support releases, and validate fixes.
• Perform application configuration, updates, and deployments as needed.
• Maintain documentation for processes, known issues, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support end users with guidance, training, and clear communication.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and best practices.

Your Role and Impact

The Application Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting business-critical applications to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. This role will specifically support systems such as GSW, WMS, and applications and services used within the Chino operation, serving as a key liaison between end users, development teams, and IT operations.

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for internal and/or customer-facing applications

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3-5 years of experience in application support, technical support, or a related role
• Fluency in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading comprehension)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues across applications, databases, and integrations
• Experience working with SQL and database concepts, along with familiarity with APIs, integrations, and log analysis.
• Hands-on experience supporting ERP, CRM, or other enterprise applications in a production environment
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release processes
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly translate technical concepts to non-technical users and collaborate across teams
