Job summary

University Health is seeking a seasoned Computer Systems Analyst to guide the implementation and operation of enterprise computer systems across financial, clinical, and administrative domains. You will lead IT projects, analyze workflows, and collaborate with diverse teams to translate needs into robust technical solutions.

The role requires strong programming and data-management skills, proficiency in SQL, .NET, VB, C#, and hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and related tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data processing, mathematics, business, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • A minimum of six years of programming and system analysis experience is required.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and data management methodology on multiple computer platforms used at University Health is essential.
  • Candidates should have working knowledge of SQL, .NET, VB, C#, and experience with MS SQL Server, Management Studio, SSIS, SSRS, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems supporting financial, clinical, and administrative functions.
  • Leading and managing complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

  • Developing, testing, and deploying software applications and system enhancements using languages such as SQL, .NET, VB, and C#.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting existing systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Providing training and support to end-users and staff to maximize system utilization and efficiency.
  • Documenting system configurations, procedures, and project progress for future reference and compliance.
  • Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Systems Analyst to join our dynamic IT team at University Health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, project management, and guidance in the implementation and operation of complex computer systems used across our financial, clinical, and administrative departments. Your primary focus will be to ensure the seamless functioning of our IT infrastructure, support system development projects, and facilitate efficient data management processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.
