Job summary

University Health in the United States is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with deep UKG Workforce Management expertise to support critical financial, clinical, and administrative systems across a large healthcare network.

You will serve as a technical authority, performing hands‑on administration, upgrades, and problem solving, partnering with business and clinical leaders to ensure system stability, security, and peak performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience with UKG Workforce Management including scheduling, timekeeping, and clocks.
  • At least 3 years in systems administration, programming, or analysis in healthcare or large enterprises.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as API, SQL, Visual Basic, ASP/Web, C++, or Dell Boomi.
  • Knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle; experience with time clocks and tablets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource for UKG Workforce Management and ERP‑based systems.
  • Administer, analyze, configure, and support production and non‑production environments.
  • Lead and support system upgrades, patches, fixes, and enhancements.
  • Conduct systems analysis, testing, and post‑implementation reviews.
  • Troubleshoot complex system/integration issues across platforms.
  • Support databases, interfaces, data extraction, reporting, and backups.
  • Collaborate with IS leadership, vendors, and internal customers on projects.
  • Participate in change control processes and create system documentation.
  • Provide on‑call support for enterprise systems.

As a vital member of the IT team, you will serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor, providing hands‑on system administration, analysis, and guidance for enterprise applications that directly support patient care and hospital operations. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands‑on experience with UKG Workforce Management, including supporting basic and advanced scheduling, timekeeping, and time clocks. A minimum of three years of systems administration, programming, or system analysis experience is required, preferably within healthcare or large enterprise environments. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as API, SQL, Visual Basic, ASP/Web, C++, or Dell Boomi is essential. Candidates should have working knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle, and experience supporting application‑related hardware such as time clocks and tablets. Familiarity with Windows and UNIX operating systems, along with excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, is necessary. The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and non‑technical teams is vital.
