Job summary

LSU New Orleans is seeking a Training and Applications Support professional to develop and deliver technical training, manage LMS content, and create instructional materials for LDH and UNO contract employees. Travel within Louisiana to conduct in-person and online sessions is expected.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Associate degree with experience in training or content development, plus strong public speaking, analytical, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher with training/content development experience.
• Experience with public speaking/presentations required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical training and develop training content for LDH and UNO contract employees.
• Plan, coordinate and present in-person and online trainings; travel within Louisiana.
• Manage LMS content and evaluate training programs.
• Develop guides, videos and PowerPoint presentations for training materials.
• Prepare administrative forms for travel and materials requisition.
• Assist in course development of special topics and support workshops.
