Vital Services is seeking a talented and experienced Application / Software Support Technician to join our growing Information Technology team. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be a part of, and play an integral role in, the expansion of our growing Application Support team.

As an IT Software / Application Support Technician, you will provide software application support for our internal and external users and customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in application support, technical systems analysis, or L2/L3 IT support.
• SQL querying and data extraction experience in relational databases.
• Experience with cloud data sources (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, DB2, AS400).
• Knowledge of QA/testing principles and bug-resolution patterns.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a quantitative field preferred.

Responsibilities

• L2 escalation and resolution of deep-level application errors and data discrepancies.
• Write and execute SQL queries to trace and extract data across databases.
• Configure and provision complex software systems and user access rules.
• Conduct functional and regression testing of hotfixes and configurations.
• Document bug-resolution patterns and configurations in Confluence.
