AQR Capital Management is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join a boundary-facing role supporting a cloud-deployed quantitative portfolio system. You will help maintain reliability, resolve production issues, and collaborate with business and technical teams to improve processes.

You will gain experience across deployments and customer support, learning to translate user needs into technical solutions while growing toward a systems reliability engineering role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience supporting complex software with business and technical teams in finance.
• Hands-on SQL and debugging; Python preferred.
• Strong technical communication (written and verbal).
• Able to work independently and in small teams.
• Desire to learn, automate, and improve system reliability.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain knowledge of Applications products to support customers.
• Manage user expectations to ensure satisfaction with products.
• Escalate and resolve production issues; maintain professional user relations.
• Collaborate with QA to report bugs identified by customers.
• Participate in on-call rotations (some off-hours).
• Contribute to process and documentation improvements.
