Job summary

AQR Capital Management is seeking a strong software engineer for its Global Stock Selection QRD team. You will build and extend scalable AWS-based storage and computing infrastructure, and develop end-to-end ML/NLP pipelines in a fast-paced research environment.

You will work with researchers to implement production systems, optimize data workflows, and ensure reliability and scalability across distributed platforms. A master's or PhD-like rigor is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience designing and delivering production software systems.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications, preferably using AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Build or extend scalable, AWS-based storage and computing infrastructure.
• Develop generalized research platform.
• Design and operate model computation and signal generation pipeline.
• Develop ML/NLP pipelines with a focus on reliability and scalability.
