Job summary

SonarSource in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Information Security professional to champion security by design across product and cloud platforms. You will partner with product, platform, and infra teams to ensure architecture meets Sonar’s high security bar.

Responsibilities include leading security assessments, penetration testing, incident response, and threat intelligence-driven improvements while promoting a culture of proactive security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with secure cloud architectures, predominantly AWS.
• Experience conducting application security assessments including code review and auth design.
• Experience securing AI/agentic capabilities and threat modeling practices (STRIDE).

Responsibilities

• Shape secure products and cloud architecture by designing secure, resilient solutions.
• Lead security assurance, evaluation of new tools, and remediation efforts.
• Strengthen customer trust through incident readiness and clear trust artifacts.
• Anticipate threats, scale the security program, and automate security processes.
• Oversee security assessments, penetration tests, and red-team engagements.
