Job summary

Sonar Austin is seeking a senior technologist to own the internal technology platform that powers AI-enabled operations. You’ll design, build, and operate AI-native systems, while administrating Jira Service Management and Atlassian Cloud tools to enable teams at scale.

You will drive automation pipelines, enterprise integrations, and governance, ensuring security and audit readiness as Sonar extends its global footprint from Austin.

Qualifications

• AI-native systems design and operation experience.
• Atlassian Jira/JSM, Jira Software, Confluence administration.
• Automation & integration engineering using REST, webhooks, and JSON.
• CMDB/asset management and ITIL-aligned processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve a multi-platform internal technology ecosystem across AI-native operations and ITSM.
• Administer and evolve Jira Service Management and Atlassian Cloud stack.
• Design automation pipelines and enterprise integrations (Slack, identity providers, HR systems).
• Ensure security, governance, and audit readiness across platforms.
