Job summary

Summa America in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Application & Sales Support Specialist to join our hybrid team. You’ll run live and virtual demos, test materials, fine-tune settings, and advise customers on best-fit solutions while representing cutting-edge printing and finishing equipment.

You’ll partner with marketing, train dealers, support webinars, and travel US/Canada (and occasionally Belgium) to showcase technology and gather real-world application stories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 2+ years in technical support, pre-sales engineering, or a customer-facing tech role.
• Must have experience with print and cutting equipment (vinyl, flatbed, laser, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Wow customers with live and virtual demos of Summa cutting systems.
• Test materials, fine-tune settings, and recommend best-fit solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor during pre-sales—supporting the sales team and partners.
• Partner with marketing to create engaging samples, demo videos, and real-world application stories.
• Support webinars and educational events; train and assist regional dealers with product support.
• Represent Summa at trade shows and travel to events; document activities with clear reports.
• Deliver expert-level training onsite, in-house, or remote; keep showroom ready.
