Job summary

MayTec, Inc is seeking an Application / Sales Engineer to support and grow sales across a diverse set of industrial automation products and systems. You’ll work closely with partners and customers to tailor solutions and drive value in a dynamic, cross‑functional team environment.

The role emphasizes technical sales proficiency, design capability with MayCAD, and the ability to manage multiple projects while traveling to partner sites and customer locations to deliver solutions and build

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Ability to develop training for partners and customers.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical/technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Motivation to exceed goals and develop new business.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with partners and customers to understand requirements and articulate solutions, risks, and challenges.
• Design solutions to meet customer needs using MayCAD and other design tools.
• Demonstrate and explain best practices in design and assembly of MayTec products.
• Prepare and issue written quotes and maintain opportunity project pipeline.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with distribution partners and customers.
• Travel required to work with distribution partners and customers.
