Job summary

MayTec, Inc is seeking an Application / Sales Engineer to support and grow sales across a diverse set of industrial automation products and systems. You’ll work closely with partners and customers to tailor solutions and drive value in a dynamic, cross‑functional team environment.

The role emphasizes technical sales proficiency, design capability with MayCAD, and the ability to manage multiple projects while traveling to partner sites and customer locations to deliver solutions and build

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.

• Demonstrate strong mechanical/technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with partners and customers to understand requirements and articulate solutions, risks, and challenges.
• Design solutions to meet customer needs using MayCAD and other design tools.
• Demonstrate and explain best practices in design and assembly of MayTec products.
• Prepare and issue written quotes and maintain opportunity project pipeline.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with distribution partners and customers.
• Travel required to work with distribution partners and customers.

Sales Engineer

MayTec, Inc is a market leader offering a comprehensive, harmonized aluminum extrusion profile system for industrial use. These types of products will range from laser cabins, conveyor systems, transfer systems, linear actuators, and cobots to name a few.

MayTec is looking for a passionate Application / Sales Engineer to support and grow sales in our fast-growing market. The ideal candidate is a flexible, creative engineer who has deep expertise, energetic curiosity, a solid grasp of design, and a desire to wear many hats. This person will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing problem-solving support and solutions in a vast variety of industries and technologies we serve.

Objectives of this role:

• Support distribution partners and customers as needed for technical support on all products
• Grow our partner base and customers within a geographical territory
• Manage multiple project timelines as required to support the business

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with partners and customers to understand requirements, make recommendations and articulate solutions, risks, and predict potential challenges
• Design solutions to meet the customers’ needs using MayCAD and other design tools
• Demonstrate and explain best practices in design and assembly of all MayTec products
• Prepare and issue written quotes for customers and maintain opportunity project pipeline
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships
• Travel required to work directly with our distribution partners and customers

Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with discipline in industrial automation and technology
• Ability and drive to learn new products, technical sales proficiency
• Ability to develop training to partners and customers as required
• Demonstrate a strong mechanical/technical aptitude
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management and technical skills
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail, and problem-solving
