Job Description
We are looking for an Application Packaging Specialist to meet our clients' requirements. The role involves packaging applications on the Windows platform. The candidate should have a good understanding of the complete process flow – validate, create, test, and deploy. A problem-solving attitude and the ability to give clear technical instructions are essential. Familiarity with remote troubleshooting techniques is also required. Knowledge of Intune, SCCM, and Change Management processes is necessary. A customer-oriented attitude is important.

Application Packaging:
- Create client software packages for new applications and update existing applications (e.g., SentinelOne, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Teams, Office apps).
- Review and validate software request tickets.
- Develop, test, and maintain software packages for distribution to end-user devices, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Assist the team as 2nd/3rd level support in identifying the root cause of package-related problems and proposing solutions.
- Conduct extensive testing and deployment of client applications.
- Possess working knowledge of Intune (creating, managing, deploying Win32 apps) and SCCM (packages and applications).
- Skills in scripting methods like VBScript, Batch/CMD, and PowerShell scripting.
- Skills in Windows registry, processes, and filesystem.
- Deep understanding of MSI and EXE packaging standards and best practices, with knowledge of MSIX and UWP apps.
- Troubleshooting skills, including analyzing log files from Intune, SCCM, and Windows Client OS (Event Viewer, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good multitasking ability, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
