Job summary

Highway is seeking an Application Operations Assistant Manager in Dallas to oversee onboarding, identity verification, and support for our Identity Solutions. You will monitor processes, guide the Carrier Support team, and collaborate with the Operations group to keep the application secure and available.

Ideal candidates have experience in application operations, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an Application Operations team for a software company.
• Technical aptitude and analytical problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with ActiveAdmin for Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with SQL and/or Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Must be comfortable directing the support team regarding escalations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor onboarding flow and serve as escalation point for issues to ensure security and optimal functionality of the application.
• Oversee carrier identity verification and user authentication to ensure secure implementation of Highway’s Identity Engine and prevent fraud incidents.
• Provide oversight to the Carrier Support team managing high volumes of tickets and calls; review response times and coordinate with Operations on escalated cases.
• Maintain the service of Highway’s application through monitoring, analyzing and reviewing issues for minimal downtime.
• Suggest updates to the application to address bugs and ensure accurate operation.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and provide user-specific solutions for Highway’s application.
• Demonstrate responsiveness in communication and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Collaborate with Highway team to serve customers effectively.

RoleDescription

FreightbrokersputanincredibleamountoftrustinHighwayandthattrustwillbeextendedtoyou.Theyexpectasecureprocessandtimelysupportfortheircarrierscompletingtheprocess.ThisroleisresponsibleforensuringHighway’soperationalprocessesandapplicationareoptimizedatalltimestoensurethatonboardsoccurinatimelymannerandinasecurefashion.Yourresponsibilitiesaretomonitortheonboardingprocessandanalyzeandaddressescalatedissuesofoperationalefficiencywithintheapplication.

Yourrole:

• MonitorsHighway’sonboardingflowandservesasanescalationpointforanyissueswithintheprocesstoensuresecurityandoptimalfunctioningoftheapplication.
• ResponsibleforoverseeingcarrieridentityverificationanduserauthenticationandauthoritytoensuresecureimplementationofHighway’sIdentityEngineandtopreventincidentsoffraud.
• GivesoversightanddirectiontotheCarriersupportteamthatmanagesahighvolumeofsupportticketsandincomingphonecalls,reviewsresponsetimesbyagentsandworkscloselywiththeOperationsTeaminhandlingescalatedcasesthatrequireadditionaloversightandreview.
• MaintainstheserviceofHighway’sapplicationthroughmonitoring,analyzingandreviewofanyissuestoensureminimaldowntimeintheapplicationandthetimelycompletionofonboards.
• Makesandsuggestsupdatestotheapplicationasrequiredtoaddresssystembugsandissuesandtoensuretheaccurateoperationoftheapplication.
• OtherdutiesincludetroubleshootingtechnicalproblemsandprovidingindividualsolutionsforusersofHighway’sapplication.
• Demonstrateresponsivenessinrespondingtointernalandexternalcommunicationwiththeabilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesatonetime.
• WorkcohesivelywithothermembersoftheHighwayTeaminanefforttoserveourcustomerswell.

The pay range for this role is:

60,000 - 65,000 USD per year (Highway Dallas HQ)
