Job summary

Supermicro is looking for an Application Engineer with in‑depth knowledge of networking solutions, especially in switch products. You will provide technical support to enterprise customers and promote internal switch offerings to optimize networking solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering (preferred).
2+ years of working experience in computer systems and/or servers.
Experience with Intel/AMD/Nvidia CPUs/GPUs server platforms is a plus.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Highly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, a good team player.
Familiar with Windows/Linux command-line interface (CLI).
Excellent knowledge of Server / Workstation products.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Production, Service, Purchaser, Product Manager to validate and debug CPUs server systems.
Identify technical issues and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
Proactively follow up on current backlogs for validation and escalate blockers as needed.
Continuously process and document improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Continuously learn and create technical documents for validating and troubleshooting newer GPU systems.
