Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Application Engineer with deep knowledge of X86 servers and switch products to provide technical support to enterprise customers and promote internal switch offerings. The role requires strong networking background and exceptional communication with management levels.

The ideal candidate will conduct validation testing, collaborate with teams, and contribute to test automation while delivering optimized networking solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of hardware validation experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture and networking.

Responsibilities

• Validate motherboard, system, and server components.
• Perform functionality, compatibility, performance, and stress tests.
• Report hardware and software quality issues in bug trackers.
• Document and analyze test data.
• Maintain and improve validation test plans and instructions.
• Develop test utilities and automate tests.
• Support quality issues and drive resolution.
