Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a top-notch hands-on Sr. Software Engineer with exceptional networking software development experience to join our rapidly growing switch department. This role is based at our headquarters in San Jose, CA.

You will own one or more apps in the Super Fabric Manager, collaborate with product managers, mentor teammates, and contribute to test automation, documentation, and customer-focused support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on networking software development experience.
• Deep expertise in data center networking with SONiC OS or similar.
• Experience in AI networking use cases: backend/frontend/storage/fabrics and observability.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of apps in Super Fabric Manager (SFM).
• Design, develop, and test switching software products.
• Collaborate with tech leads and product managers; mentor teammates.
• Build tools for CD/CI and software automation; diagnose and resolve issues.
