Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Application Engineer with deep X86 server and networking knowledge, especially switch products. You will provide technical support to enterprise customers and promote internal switch products to optimize networking solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in networking and server hardware, plus excellent communication to interface with all levels of management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS.
• 8+ years in hardware validation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture and networking; Linux/Windows experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform motherboard, system, and other server component validation testing.
• Conduct functionality, compatibility, performance, stress and reliability testing.
• Report hardware and software quality issues; document and analyze test data.
• Maintain and improve validation test plans and instructions.
• Contribute in development of test utilities and automation.
• Support quality issues and drive to issue resolution.
