Emerson Electric Co. is seeking an Application Engineering Intern to support customer-focused technical initiatives, product demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept using NI hardware and software platforms.

This hands-on role blends engineering problem solving with customer engagement, working with engineers, sales, and R&D to address real-world challenges. You will gain exposure to Life Sciences, Semiconductor, Energy, and Industrial equipment industries while building skills in test,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, and optimizing customer-facing demonstrations and Proofs of Concept.
• Support engineers in evaluating customer requirements and identifying hardware/software solutions.
• Develop and enhance demonstration systems using NI hardware/software platforms.
• Research emerging technologies and industry trends to support new opportunities.
• Troubleshoot issues within demonstrations and PoCs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering on opportunities.
• Participate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and training activities.
• Document architectures, findings, and best practices for future engagements.
