Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. is seeking an SDE intern to develop careers in technical sales, applications engineering, and technical marketing. You will train on T&M products, learn the sales process, and gain hands-on experience while supporting customers with complex engineering challenges.

You will collaborate across multiple departments, travel for demos, and build skills in test and measurement technologies that prepare you for a successful career in engineering sales.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Interest in a long-term career in technical sales, marketing, or applications engineering.
• Understanding of electronics, computers, and high-level programming languages (C, Python, LabVIEW).
• Ability to relocate to Austin, TX for the summer.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Learn T&M tools and sales process while supporting customers’ technical challenges.
• Partner with an Account Manager to assist with customer sales requests and configurations.
• Develop test and measurement expertise for future career growth.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical support, operations, and business units.
• Travel to customer sites to provide demos or product presentations.
