Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. is seeking an entry-level Applications Engineer to work with Test & Measurement teams in the Austin area.

You will translate customer requirements into actionable technical solutions and develop proofs-of-concept using NI hardware and software. You will collaborate with sales, business development, and engineering to drive new growth in Semiconductor/Electronics sectors while building trust with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in engineering or computer science with a technical focus.
• Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (Power supplies, DMMs, scopes, generators).
• Experience with high-level languages (C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, Python).

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to understand requirements and recommend T&M solutions.
• Create proofs-of-concept with T&M NI hardware/software for demonstrations.
• Build relationships with customers and account managers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product feedback and initiatives.
