Job summary
Honeywell is seeking an Application Engineer II to provide advanced technical support and guidance for Alerton building automation systems from Plymouth, MN on a hybrid schedule. You will diagnose complex issues, guide installations and upgrades, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and sales to deliver reliable solutions.
You will handle software and field-level controls, configure databases, networks, and integrations, and create technical documentation and training materials for
Qualifications
- 2+ years in building automation, HVAC controls, or related technical support.
- 2+ years with Alerton Compass or comparable platform (installation, upgrades, programming, troubleshooting).
- 2+ years HVAC fundamentals, sequences, sensors, actuators, alarms, trends, graphics.
- 2+ years BACnet and IP networking including DNS, DHCP, routing, VPN.
