Job summary

Averro is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, translating requirements into profitable equipment solutions. You will perform equipment sizing calculations, cost analysis, and prepare technically grounded proposals.

Travel up to 5% for trade shows and industry events, collaborate with the Gas Systems team to align customer needs with available solutions, and handle inquiries while documenting P&IDs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering discipline
• 5+ years of technical engineering or application sales experience; propane, natural gas, or industrial equipment background preferred
• Proficiency with equipment sizing calculations, P&ID interpretation, and proposal development; strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison between customers and internal teams, translating application requirements into accurate, profitable equipment solutions
• Perform equipment sizing calculations, cost analysis, and prepare technically grounded proposals and quotations within established guidelines
• Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows and industry events (approximately 5% travel) to expand market presence and identify new business opportunities
• Collaborate with the Gas Systems team and engineering to align customer requirements with available solutions and production capacity
• Handle technical inquiries, troubleshoot applications, and document customer specifications including P&IDs
