Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Proposal Engineer to support multiple divisions in heat transfer projects. You will prepare proposals, liaise with domestic aftermarket clients, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and procurement to move projects from setup to erection.

The role involves performing performance modeling with inhouse software, hand calculations, and developing thermal designs for aftermarket and new equipment inquiries. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• 2+ years’ experience in similar roles in power/heavy industry.
• PE or EIT certification preferred.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Able to read manuals, drawings, and data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and communicate with EPC clients.
• Liaise with domestic aftermarket clients and a representative network.
• Manage projects from setup to erection supervision.
• Perform performance modeling and hand calculations.
• Develop thermal designs and equipment proposals for inquiries.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and sales teams.
