Job summary

Hioki is seeking an Application Engineer in Novi, Michigan to join our growing team. You will provide technical support to professionals across the Americas, promoting cutting-edge technologies in battery manufacturing, mobility, renewable energy, and power electronics.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to assess customer needs, deliver demonstrations, and produce technical materials. Some travel (domestic 25%, international 5–10%) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in test and measurement, applications, electrical design, system integration, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with test and measurement instruments such as data acquisition equipment, battery testers, LCR meters, and power analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions during the sales process.
• Provide technical assistance and promptly respond to customer inquiries.
• Work with Sales and Management to develop and implement revenue growth strategies.
• Create and deliver presentations, application notes, and white papers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and attend trade shows as needed.
• Recommend enhancements to Hioki's existing product line.
• Provide product training to internal sales associates, sales representatives, distributors, and end users.
