Job summary

Hioki is seeking an Application Engineer in Novi, Michigan to join our growing team. You will provide technical support to professionals across the Americas, promoting cutting-edge technologies in battery manufacturing, mobility, renewable energy, and power electronics.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to assess customer needs, deliver demonstrations, and produce technical materials. Some travel (domestic 25%, international 5–10%) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in test and measurement, applications, electrical design, system integration, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with test and measurement instruments such as data acquisition equipment, battery testers, LCR meters, and power analyzers.

In this role, you will work closely with our Sales and Marketing team and Engineers in Japan to promote and support cutting-edge technologies in Lithium‑Ion battery manufacturing, mobility and automotive, renewable energy, electronic components, and power electronics.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $80,000 and will be commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
