Job summary

Hioki USA is seeking an Application Engineer (Electrical) in Dallas to work with engineers, scientists, and professionals across the Americas on cutting-edge technologies in automotive, lithium‑ion batteries, renewables, and power electronics.

You will assess customer needs, provide solutions, and collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue while delivering technical presentations and training. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 2+ years in test and measurement are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in test and measurement, applications, electrical design, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with test and measurement instruments such as data acquisition equipment, battery testers, LCR meters, and power analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions during the sales process.
• Provide technical assistance and promptly respond to customer inquiries.
• Work with Sales and Management to develop and implement revenue growth strategies.
• Create and deliver presentations, application notes, and white papers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and attend trade shows as needed.
• Recommend enhancements to Hioki's existing product line.
• Provide product training to internal sales associates, sales representatives, distributors, and end users.
