Ladders is seeking an Application Development Team Manager to lead a geographically distributed software team in a remote, collaborative environment. You will guide planning, execution, and technical discipline across the software lifecycle while promoting modern development practices and AI-enabled workflows.

The role requires partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to keep delivery on track, manage risk, and drive strong engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership or management experience in software development or project management.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, React, Python, SQL, AWS and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to lead distributed or remote teams and coordinate across stakeholders.

For our client, we are seeking an Application Development Team Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will lead a geographically distributed application development team focused on delivering high-quality software in a remote, collaborative environment. You will guide planning, execution, and technical discipline across the software lifecycle while helping the team adopt modern development practices and AI-enabled workflows. The position requires close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to keep delivery on track, manage risk, and support strong engineering outcomes. It is an opportunity to shape team performance, delivery consistency, and the effective use of emerging technologies in software development.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $147,050 - $198,950 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a geographically distributed software development team
