Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking an Application Developer for our Columbia, MD program. You will design and build tooling for reverse engineering workflows, experiment with autonomous agents to support development, and automate analysis tasks with AI-assisted techniques.

A Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph is required. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (MS substitution allowed) and at least 6 years in Application Development, with experience using Ghidra/IDA Pro, low-level concepts,

Requirements for your new career

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 6 years of experience in Application Development (4 years with a M.S. degree)
• Experience with reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra or IDA Pro
• Strong understanding of low-level concepts, including Linux file formats, assembly, binaries, memory, and calling conventions
• Experience developing tools, scripts, or plugins for analysis workflows
• Experience with at least one reverse engineering-relevant scripting or programming language, such as Python or C/C++
• Experience prototyping, evaluating, and refining experimental tooling
• Familiarity with AI/LLMs and an interest in expanding hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development
• Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
