Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking an Application Developer on our premier PRIME contract to design tooling for reverse engineering workflows and to explore autonomous agents that assist software development.

You will build automation, document analysis tasks, and apply AI-assisted techniques to binary analysis while collaborating with customers to refine solutions. Prior Ghidra/IDA Pro experience and Linux knowledge are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree).
  • 6 years of experience in Application Development (4 years with an MS degree).
  • Experience with reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra or IDA Pro.
  • Strong understanding of low-level concepts, including Linux file formats, assembly, binaries, memory, and calling conventions.
  • Experience developing tools, scripts, or plugins for analysis workflows.
  • Experience with at least one reverse engineering-relevant scripting or programming language, such as Python or C/C++.
  • Experience prototyping, evaluating, and refining experimental tooling.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLMs and an interest in expanding hands‑on experience with AI-assisted development.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.

Salary range: $135,000 - $195,000
