Job summary

Visionist seeks a Software Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to join a fully funded, breakthrough program that scales AI-powered workflows for mission-critical operations. You will help design and deploy agentic AI tools, write Python automation, and integrate AI into production pipelines while collaborating with analysts and policy leaders.

You will contribute to a diverse tech stack, perform vulnerability analysis, and craft new tradecraft to advance national security capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree).
• 12 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Experience leveraging LLMs to solve complex problems, including prompt engineering and model optimization.
• Experience integrating AI into automated pipelines and production workflows using APIs and orchestration tools.
• Strong experience with Python, including data parsing and manipulation.
• Experience with networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience conducting open source research.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.

Salary range:

$170,000 - $240,000
