Job summary

Atos is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Administrator to maintain the CMDB and ITSM capabilities across hybrid environments. You will enhance data quality, implement automated discovery, and integrate OCI and other cloud inventories using Service Graph Connectors.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in ServiceNow, CMDB, and IT asset lifecycle management, with hands-on cloud discovery experience and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow administration, CMDB, ITSM, ITAM, or Discovery.
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Service Graph Connectors and cloud discovery.
• Working knowledge of OCI tenancies, compartments, compute, networks, storage, databases, tagging, credentials, and APIs.
• Understanding of CMDB modeling, reconciliation, data governance, and IT asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with Rally, Excel, Python, or similar analytical tools. ServiceNow certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB and related ITSM capabilities.
• Improve CMDB ingestion, reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, and health.
• Integrate OCI inventory with the CMDB using Service Graph Connectors, APIs, and discovery patterns.
• Configure OCI credentials, service accounts, compartments, and discovery schedules.
• Validate discovery of OCI compute, networks, storage, databases, and tags; ensure assets are cataloged.
• Implement automated discovery across OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and on-premises environments.
• Use Agent Client Collector and other tools to identify and reconcile IT assets.
• Produce CMDB health, data-quality, compliance, and asset-risk reports.
• Document CMDB data models, discovery processes, integrations, and remediation procedures.
• Develop Rally user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for ServiceNow improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB and related ITSM capabilities.
• Improve CMDB ingestion, reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, and overall health.
• Integrate OCI inventory with the ServiceNow CMDB using Service Graph Connectors, APIs, and discovery patterns.
• Configure OCI credentials, service accounts, compartments, logical data centers, and discovery schedules.
• Validate the discovery of OCI compute instances, virtual cloud networks, storage, databases, tags, and other cloud configuration items.
• Implement automated discovery across OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and on-premises environments.
• Use Agent Client Collector and other discovery tools to identify and reconcile IT assets.
• Establish mandatory CMDB attributes, data standards, validation rules, and lifecycle controls. Identify shadow IT and ensure discovered assets are properly cataloged, governed, and secured.
• Produce CMDB health, data-quality, compliance, and asset-risk reports.
• Document CMDB data models, discovery processes, integrations, and remediation procedures.

Supporting Responsibilities

• Develop Rally user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for ServiceNow improvements.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, testing, deployments, and stakeholder reviews.
• Support ITIL, NIST, cybersecurity, audit, and financial-sector compliance requirements.
• Create operational documentation, knowledge articles, and user training materials.
• Qualifications 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow administration, CMDB, ITSM, ITAM, or Discovery.
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Service Graph Connectors and cloud discovery.
• Working knowledge of OCI tenancies, compartments, compute, networks, block and object storage, databases, tagging, credentials, and APIs.
• Understanding of CMDB modeling, reconciliation, data governance, and IT asset lifecycle management. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and agent-based discovery is beneficial.
• Experience with Rally, Excel, Python, or similar analytical tools. ServiceNow certification preferred. Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
