Job summary

Toyota North America’s Manufacturing IT Department seeks an Application Delivery Lead to bridge Manufacturing and Quality Operations with the Application Delivery program. You will lead engagement, document requirements, and ensure alignment between processes and IT design.

Reporting to the IT Applications Delivery Product Owner, you will help deliver scalable MES solutions for quality operations and will reside near the Battery Plant in Liberty, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business analysis experience, with manufacturing or quality systems exposure.
• Able to capture application requirements and understand systems architecture and design.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes (defect tracking, non-conformance, SPC).
• Experience documenting business processes and application systems requirements for enterprise apps.
• Experience working with MES/MOM systems (Siemens OpCenter preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead business engagement with Manufacturing and Quality stakeholders, mapping day-to-day production workflows.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to capture current and future state workflows.
• Document detailed business requirements, use cases, and functional specs for Manufacturing and Quality IT modules.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and architects to ensure correct implementation.
• Validate configurations align with business needs through reviews and UAT support.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize manufacturing and quality processes using MES capabilities.
• Support development of training materials, SOPs, and user guides.
• Communicate application changes and impacts to Manufacturing and Quality teams.
• Maintain requirements traceability and manage changes through project lifecycles.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and assist with backlog refinement and demos.
• Assist testing by reviewing cases and validating end-to-end quality workflows.
