Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking an Application Delivery Technical Lead to provide technical guidance to software engineers, align deliverables with IT standards, and mentor project teams.

This full-time role combines design and hands-on delivery of code, with opportunities to shape architecture across enterprise solutions and collaborate with architects, developers and business users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in database technologies.
• 5 years of experience on projects involving SDLC.
• 3 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and high-level design.
• Experience in programming and software development including RPG, Java, SQL, Angular, APIs design and implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultation on business requirements and functional specifications in logical program designs, code modules, applications systems, and software solutions; supports the project lifecycle with leadership input.
