Harris SmartFusion - This remote role welcomes candidates from anywhere in Canada or the US.

Our Professional Services team has an exciting opportunity for a driven individual, and we are looking for an Application Consultant passionate about providing implementation services for our customers. The Application Consultant will act as a conduit between management, the Professional Services team, key customers, and third-party vendors. This role involves providing training to Harris SmartFusion customers via remote and onsite methods. The individual will be part of a motivated, collaborative team focused on ensuring a positive customer experience with our products. Excellent management, communication, organizational skills, and flexibility are essential.

Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services, the Application Consultant will work mainly with customers throughout the south and southeast US to gather business requirements, configure software, and deliver training on our Integrative products. This is a remote (work from home) position with hours based on Eastern Standard Time (EST).

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Define and document customers' business requirements; interpret and apply information within project scope.
2. Develop project documentation, testing cases, and other related documents during and after implementation.
3. Understand customers' business processes and configure software accordingly.
4. Train end-users through remote and classroom sessions.
5. Become an expert on software functionality and capabilities, providing feedback to the product development team when appropriate.
6. Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues during implementation.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Product Owners, QA, and Technical Support.
8. Assist with data conversion and software installations as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

• 3+ years of consulting experience with customers and managing multiple enterprise or software implementation projects.
• Proficiency with issue tracking tools like JIRA and Team Support.
• Strong technical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of software system implementation activities.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% for customer meetings.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Experience in customer service, training, and IT support.
• Knowledge of SmartFusion products (preferred).
• Experience with SQL scripts and database changes (preferred).
• Understanding of accounting principles (preferred).
• Experience in a PMO environment (optional).
