Job Description:

This position involves complex to expert level work supporting information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing them.

(e.g., electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing, collections, lab and pathology, radiology, PACS, cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long-term care, population health, consumer and patient-facing technologies, enterprise resource planning, workforce scheduling, time and attendance, customer relationship management)

The Principal Analyst oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance of healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle, including selection, implementation, support, archiving, and decommissioning.

This role provides strategic guidance, ensures alignment with organizational goals, manages projects, mentors other analysts, and develops best practices and standards for application management.

Supervision of lower-level analysts may be required.

Essential functions are performed independently with minimal supervision and include analyzing problems, translating requirements, configuring and maintaining systems, documenting workflows, partnering with vendors, solving issues, managing projects, mentoring, and participating in training and documentation development.

The role also involves hardware integration, business reporting, on-call responsibilities, testing, meetings, budget management, vendor engagement, project portfolio management, stakeholder communication, benefit tracking, and advocating for data-driven decision-making.

Required skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, in-depth application knowledge, system analysis, problem-solving, report writing, project management, and resource planning.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, certifications, specific Epic application build experience, and extensive healthcare experience.

Physical requirements involve operating IT equipment, visual acuity, and static postures.

Location: Peaks Regional Office, Broomfield, Colorado. Work hours: 40/week. Salary range: $53.58 - $84.36/hour, dependent on experience.
