Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is hiring a Sales Assistant to be the central contact for our sales teams and customers. You’ll deliver exceptional service, streamline communications, and help close sales on the showroom floor and in follow-up interactions.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, product knowledge, and collaboration across departments, with opportunities for growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 3 years of sales or customer service in a retail or contractor environment.
• English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred.
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to read/builders/contractors details.
• Pre-employment screening including background checks.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and study product information to inform customers.
• Provide necessary point-of-sale information and help close sales.
• Accurately write and enter bids/orders, including pre-install measures; support outside sales teams.
• Assist customers on the sales floor and answer phones promptly; assist with follow-up communications.
• Collaborate with install teams to maintain orders and scheduling as needed.
