Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a Sales Assistant who serves as the go-to partner for customers and internal teams, delivering top-tier service and building lasting relationships.

You will be the central point of contact for the sales floor, helping with bids and orders and supporting the install and outside sales teams. Ideal candidates are bilingual in English/Spanish, with strong data-entry skills and the ability to navigate MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 3 years of sales or customer service in a retail or contractor environment
• English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
• Proficient in MS Office application
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Must be detail-oriented, taking time to read/follow details of builders/contractors
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Monitor and study product information
• Provide POS information and close sales
• Enter bids and orders accurately, including pre-install steps; support outside sales
• Assist customers on the sales floor and answer phones promptly
• Collaborate with install team on order maintenance and follow-up calls
