Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Sales Assistant to be the go-to partner for customers and internal teams, delivering exceptional service and fostering meaningful relationships.

You will be the central point of contact for NFM's sales teams, streamlining communication and empowering collaboration across departments to support sales floors and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years of sales or customer service experience in retail or contractor environments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speakers preferred.
• Able to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours.
• Detail-oriented; ability to read and follow details from builders/contractors.
• Pre-employment screening includes a background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product information and study details.
• Provide necessary point-of-sale information and help close sales.
• Enter bids/orders accurately, including pre-install measures; support outside sales teams.
• Assist customers on the sales floor and promptly answer phones.
• Collaborate with install team on order maintenance and follow-up scheduling.

As NFM's Sales Assistant, you'll be the go-to partner for both internal and external customers, delivering exceptional service and fostering meaningful relationships. Acting as the central point of contact for NFM's sales teams, you'll streamline communication and empower collaboration across departments, making you an indispensable part of our success story. Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Monitor Research and study product information
• Manage Provide necessary point-of-sale information. Close sales
• Support Accurately write and enter bids/orders, including pre-install measures. Support outside sales teams
• Assist Approach customers in a timely manner on the sales floor and promptly answer telephones
• Collaborate When applicable, support install team with order maintenance, and scheduling of follow up calls
